SBIA Welcomes Ron Lippock as Director of Member Engagement and Business Development

January 13, 2025 (Washington, D.C.) – The Small Business Investor Alliance (SBIA), the leading association for lower middle market private equity funds and investors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Lippock as Director of Member Engagement and Business Development. With more than 20 years of results-driven experience in membership building and servicing strategies, Ron brings expertise in developing event programming, online and in-person education initiatives, and implementing both traditional and new media outreach approaches.

“Ron’s deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing both general and limited partners in the private equity space makes him a great addition to our team,” said SBIA President Brett Palmer. “He will play a pivotal role in strengthening SBIA’s membership outreach, with a particular focus on education and professional development initiatives, fostering deeper engagement and supporting both our GP and LP members in achieving the best investment outcomes.”

Prior to joining SBIA, Ron led education and programming efforts for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), and the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA). At SBIA, he will focus on expanding educational webinars, training programs, peer-based roundtables, and initiatives that foster meaningful connections and the sharing of best practices among membership communities, such as the Independent Sponsor Forum. Additionally, Ron will work to deepen member engagement, identify emerging trends in the private equity space, and develop tailored resources to meet the evolving needs of general and limited partners.
