SBIA recognizes Small Business Investing Champions in Congress

July 22, 2026 (Washington, D.C.) – Each election year, the Small Business Investor Alliance (SBIA) recognizes those members of Congress who have been supportive of policies to unleash more capital for job creation and economic growth. This year SBIA recognized 100 members of Congress for their support of policies that promote capital access for domestic small businesses, including select members of congressional leadership as well as members of the House and Senate Small Business, House Financial Services, Senate Banking, House Ways and Means, Senate Finance, House and Senate Appropriations, and House and Senate Agriculture committees.

“Access to long-term, patient capital is essential for our domestic small businesses to grow and succeed,” said SBIA President Brett Palmer. “Our small business champions in Congress have demonstrated a strong bipartisan commitment to investing in American jobs by supporting better access to capital for American small businesses and entrepreneurs.”
